Monchey Origins
The story of Monchey began when a young man in grade 10 was introduced to programming for the first time in an IT class. It was a magical moment where it just clicked and he decided that whatever he did in life would involve technology. With his newfound passion and hunger to learn, school became too slow for him to the extent that he read a thick programming book, that his father gave him, from cover to cover twice. Influenced by the movie 'The Social Network', he diligently pursued his dream of being a tech entrepreneur and it became clearer that his destiny involved being part of a vehicle to put people, organisations and businesses on the digital map. All this became a setup for the creation of Monchey.
Monchey was founded in October 2020 by John Ojong to create a world where talent meets innovation as a vehicle for digital presence. At Monchey we are inspired by the people we serve and the people who serve us. We aim to be a high integrity company that people trust.
